Match the food to the missing stat
The older Gamerch ingredient reference groups ordinary food by its main stat. Use this shortlist to scan a meal roll; rarity alone does not tell you whether it helps your build.
| Need | Look for | Also inspect |
|---|---|---|
| HP | Carbohydrates | Bones: HP + AGI |
| STR | Meat | Eggs: STR + VIT |
| VIT | Metal | Stone: VIT + STR |
| INT | Seafood | Crystals: INT + RES |
| RES | Trees | Fungi: RES + INT |
| AGI | Plants | Water: AGI + HP |
Before buying: read the entire effect. The reference includes foods that drain another stat, change stamina, or swap stats. Homunculus and Ancient Fungi are reported as stat-swapping choices; do not treat them as ordinary upgrades. Quantities can change prices and gains, so this guide deliberately does not publish a fixed-price shopping list.

Budget the meal and the action together
The early schedule guide describes meals before the weekly action, with some meals adding or removing stamina. It lists helping a villager at 15 stamina, a random-event action at 10 before any further event cost, and rest restoring 60% of maximum stamina. These are legacy reference values; compare them with your current action screen.
- Choose the action you want before selecting food.
- Check the meal's stamina change as well as its stat gain.
- Keep a reserve if you want to accept an additional event cost; do not assume the entry cost is the whole bill.
Planning example: at 20 stamina, a meal that costs 10 would leave too little for a 15-stamina job. A smaller gain without that cost may preserve the week you actually wanted.

Choose a teacher for the skill family
The official 0.8.0 update introduced affinity events with family-restricted skill inspirations, explicitly giving Martha → Horn and Arches → Claw as examples. Conditions are available under System → Compendium; 0.9.0 also added requirement displays when choosing village actions.
| Villager | Skill family |
|---|---|
| Arches | Claw |
| Martha | Horn |
| Knot | Fang |
| Ulupica | Roar |
| Quin | Scale |
| Toly | Wing |
| Morgentiana | Tail |
The Steam achievement guide and Gamerch both list this family mapping. Gamerch also warns that allowing a snack during a job forfeits that job's affinity increase. Our recommendation: when hunting a family-specific skill, prioritize its villager and refuse the snack; check event requirements before assuming a full affection bar guarantees the scene.

Use CP to fix the run you keep losing
Gamerch reports that loop bonuses unlock after a run ends, including a failed run, and that deselecting a bonus returns its allocated CP. Treat the setup as a loadout you can adjust. Its July 2025 price list predates later additions; use the current menu for costs and available bonuses.
Missing the right tools?
Our recommendation: compare starting skill inspirations, skill rerolls, and improved skill-rarity options. These target an incomplete kit; a raw damage bonus cannot replace a missing defensive answer.
Running out of resources?
Our recommendation: compare starting gold, food-rarity options, and recovery bonuses. Choose the option that addresses the failure you observed, rather than automatically paying for both physical and magic power.
For farming, an older CP guide records rewards for progress, boss wins, clearing the scenario, finishing debt-free, and final stats. It recommends normal difficulty if higher levels prevent consistent clears. We do not claim its old reward totals or speculative stat formula remain exact in 1.0.
A more recent 0.9.3 Lv.9 clear report by Murakumo recommends building up loop bonuses on easier Lv.1–4 runs while collecting achievements and Fragments. That supports a practical goal: finish repeatable runs before pushing the next difficulty, rather than resetting every imperfect opening.

Do not use the old 5,000G voucher threshold
The developer changed the Buyback Division's Wonderful Voucher reward to every 2,500G worth sold, down from 5,000G. Meeting the division also grants a Reward Candy worth 10 stamina. These rewards concern the Buyback Division, not an assumed universal shop-spending bonus.
Our recommendation: check the visit on your calendar and review unused items before it arrives. Sell only what your route can spare; do not give away essential recovery just to cross a voucher threshold. Include the candy when planning that week's stamina, after confirming the current reward screen.

Update before troubleshooting a Breath route
Version 1.0.1 fixes a case where a Breath-change event failed to teach the new Breath, and a bug that stopped the final boss using Breaths after a defeat and retry. It also allows saving immediately before a True Ending.
Practical consequence: update before treating a missing Breath as a hidden unlock condition—or a strangely quiet boss retry as a reproducible strategy.

Useful leads, honest limits
This guide summarizes original sources in English rather than reproducing their guides or full databases. Community data is labeled by date or version; an official historical patch is not proof that we personally retested a mechanic in 1.0. English names may differ after the release translation overhaul.
Our public-web searches of X and Reddit did not yield additional substantive strategy posts we could verify for this update. The new material comes from Steam, Gamerch, a dated Japanese player report, and developer patch notes. We excluded unverified farming formulas and did not promote a legacy debt-timing exploit as a safe route.
