Unlock the True Ending system first
The 25 True Endings are not the five Early Access outcomes in our legacy tracker. In the 1.0 release notes, the new DRAGON'S DISCIPLINE scenario unlock event appears after you have obtained at least one Fragment of Space-Time for six or more characters. Clear that scenario to unlock the 25 True Endings.
- Collect at least one Fragment of Space-Time for six distinct characters.
- Watch for the DRAGON'S DISCIPLINE unlock event, then enter and clear the scenario.
- Only then pursue the 25 True Endings. Version 1.0.1 also allows a save immediately before a True Ending.

Let Punch or Spark choose your first engine
Players in a detailed Steam discussion use the opening skill as a simple fork: Punch → STR / physical; Spark → INT / magic. Pick weekly actions and village opportunities that support that engine, then buy enough HP and the relevant defense to keep attacking. A separate Japanese player guide reaches a similar early-game conclusion and notes that AGI is optional when your plan has no speed synergy.
Use it this run: after seeing the starter skill, write down one main damage stat and one survival weakness. Spend the next few weeks answering those two needs. Do not dilute the build by paying for a second, unrelated damage engine before the first works.

RULE and WILD reward different risks
RULE: controlled rotation
An older player report says RULE can extend self-buffs and enemy debuffs by one turn, making timed poison or Wind Blade plans easier to maintain. The developer later added an event that can grant a fifth battle-skill slot when Coo is strongly RULE-aligned.
Try it when: your damage depends on status duration, exact cooldown timing, or an extra equipped answer.
WILD: volatile pressure
The same player report describes command defiance with a guaranteed critical hit and stronger direct-damage potential. Official 0.8.3 notes also reduced the skill-learning chance from helping villagers while WILD.
Try it when: you can tolerate missed instructions and are building around burst rather than precise support windows.

Use poison to buy defensive weeks
A community early-game guide recommends stacking poison through Poison Claw, Poison Rush, and Venomous Fangs so damage continues while you protect Coo. This is a conditional plan, not a universal best build: if a boss out-heals your damage or a damage check arrives, add direct pressure.
Use it this run: if you learn two poison tools early, check whether you can keep the effect active across cooldowns. Then invest spare weeks in HP / matchup defense rather than every available attack stat. Re-evaluate before a boss whose healing may erase your damage-over-time advantage.
The official 1.0 patch reduced cooldowns on all three named poison skills, which makes this older idea worth retesting in the release build. We have not measured a current optimal rotation.

Octanya: solve the tentacles before bursting
Players describe tentacles that Protect the boss or parry particular damage types. One report says Protect can blunt wide attacks and Breath; another advises removing tentacles first and hitting Octanya when regeneration is lower. This is a useful fight-reading framework, but the reports predate 1.0 and do not establish a guaranteed sequence.
- Inspect the forecast and which tentacle is defending or parrying this turn.
- Avoid spending a big single-target or Breath payoff into active protection; take a safe tentacle or survival turn instead.
- Once protection drops, concentrate damage on Octanya before regeneration and scaling erase your progress.

Do not confuse an aura with RULE / WILD
A player-tested personality guide tracks six auras using stat shape plus Kind / Strict behavior. For example, it reports a Whimsical route from a Strict-leaning, INT-and-AGI-heavy Coo with INT above AGI above STR; Steady is reported as an INT-leaning Kind route. These are community observations, not official 1.0 formulas.
Use it this run: if you are chasing an aura, keep Kind / Strict choices and stat priorities intentional through the second boss, and record the result. Do not substitute RULE / WILD for Kind / Strict in an aura recipe.

What made the cut?
We searched the public web for X, Reddit, Steam discussions and community guides about DRAPLINE. The actionable advice collected here comes from Steam players, Gamerch, and a dated Japanese Lv.9 play report in the expanded guides, checked against developer notes where possible. Our searches did not yield a substantive X or Reddit strategy post we could verify; that is a search limitation, not proof that none exists. Player reports may differ from your 1.0 game; follow the in-game UI when it conflicts.
